Senpai Bypass is a primary road in Zone 7 that links between Horizon Bridge and Leafy Road, bypassing the Senpai and YiYan areas. It was extended in 2020 from its previous endpoint near Hill Road Flyover to its current terminus at Leafy Road, near the intersection with Sindy Road. All sections of the road are included in the northern end of Strategic Route 4.
Design[]
Senpai Bypass takes the form of a dual carriageway with two lanes on each side throughout. From its northern end at Horizon Bridge, it runs southward on a bridge over Axis Road and then YiYan Road. Then, it turns towards the southeast and runs on the surface of a hill, where there is a trumpet interchange with Youngman Street, for access to YiYan Estate. Immediately after, the road runs in a tunnel through a section of the hill briefly before finally merging with Leafy Road.

As an expressway, the only bus stop on the southbound section of the road is located at the Zone 7 Interchange.

Usage Status[]
Senpai Bypass experiences decent usage and can occasionally become congested during peak hours. This is because the road allows vehicles from Zones 1, 4 and 6 to travel to areas like YiYan and Leafy University, as well as to more distant locations such as Leafy Bay Estate, Rainbow, and East Door via Leafy Road.
Trivia[]
- Prior to the opening of the extension on 25/7/2020, the unopened section still existed, albeit blocked by traffic cones.
- Before February 2021, the expressway section of the bypass ended at a set of traffic signals, becoming a local road through the Normal Gap district east of Sindy Road/East Door Road. These signals now serve a local road with the Zone 8 expansion east of East Door.
- Since June 2024, due to the redevelopment of Horizon Island, the main roads and branched roads connecting to Horizon Bridge have been blocked with traffic cones.
