Welcome to the Roblox Sunshine Islands Wiki. This wiki is about Roblox Sunshine Islands, a Hong Kong based bus simulator in Roblox made by addisonshiu from 2017. Our wiki's purpose is to introduce information, including the geographic and bus service network of Sunshine Islands, from places, bus routes, bus operators to roads, bus models and other trivia, to readers of this wiki, Sunshine Islands players and fans.
To ensure the information in this wiki is reliable, wiki operations are smooth, and every single member of this community can have an enjoyable experience in this wiki, we have setted up the following wiki rules. We hope all of you will understand and follow them, in order to ensure the stability of the wiki.
Basic policies
- All activities, contents and edits should be in compliance to Fandom's rules and regulations.
- All users should edit our wiki in a nice, civilized, negotiating and neutral attitude. Always respect other users and copyright.
Editing rules
- All titles in this wiki should be related to Roblox Sunshine Islands, and other irrelevant titles should not be added.
- All factual information in this wiki should be verifiable. Please refrain from adding unverifiable information. Non-public, false or fictional content should not be added in this wiki.
- The language of this wiki is British/North American English, despite that the game is based in Hong Kong, so please write and speak in proper English. Chinglish or Kongish should be avoided. Please also try your best to write with proper grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- When editing, please write in 3rd person perspective, remain neutral and factual. Also, please be polite and avoid using foul language or other inappropriate words and phrases.
- Respect privacy at all times, doxing and revealing others' personal information is strictly prohibited. For your personal security, please also avoid revealing your own personal information.
- When writing articles, please provide adequate information and follow wiki style formatting, with appropriate categorising.
Please refer to the wiki editing manual below.(Coming soon) - Please write contents in a way that a general member of public would also easily understand. Avoid the use of jargon or writing things that are hardly understandable by non-Sunshine Islands Players and non-bus enthusiasts.
- Respect copyright at all times. All text and graphic content should not be infringing copyright.
- The contents of this wiki are released under the Creative Commons CC-BY-SA 3.0 license. Unless otherwise requested by the respective editors, content added by all users will be assumed to be released under the aforementioned license.
Community Rules
- You are not allowed to post any content that violates our wiki rules and Fandom ToS in your profile page, other users' message wall or articles' comment function.
- Abusing other users' message wall or articles' comment function to publish stuff that are meaningless, irrelevant or not related to the content/things of this wiki are prohibited.
- No sensitive topics should be discussed in this wiki.
- Users should always follow all proper decisions or instructions from admins. If you have any complaints or comments, you are welcomed to raise them.
- Minimodding is not allowed.
Manual of Editing
The detailed Manual of Editing is still under construction, and will be introduced in the near future.
However, users are still expected to comply with the following basic rules of the Manual of Editing:
1. All articles or titles created should be related to the topic of this wiki (i.e. Roblox Sunshine Islands), and should comply with the rules of this wiki plus Fandom's Guidelines and ToS
2. The topic of pages should be meaningful enough to be written in the wiki, such as interesting or useful to the majority of readers
3. The major article topics of this wiki are:
- Places, roads and buildings of Sunshine Islands
- Bus Routes, bus models, bus terminals, bus stops and Bus Operators in Sunshine Islands
- Other trivia about Sunshine Islands
4. Do note that for bus route, only official routes (i.e. routes listed in the Official Sunshine Islands Website) admitted by the creator and operators should be included in the wiki, i.e. DO NOT include information about custom routes or route suggestions created by yourself or other players as this might mislead readers.
If any pages created is found to be largely deviated from the above points in the Manual of Editing, and cannot be improved, the respective articles will be deleted.
Standard of File Uploading
- All pictures/files uploaded to this wiki should be related to the topic and content of this wiki, being able to be a supplement to articles' content or helps the editing of the wiki. Please do not upload other irrelevant files.
- Please refrain from uploading poor quality pictures, including low resolution pictures, blurry pictures (such as photos capturing your screen with a mobile phone), the main object of the picture is not clearly shown (such as the main object is seriously blocked by obstacles, including Roblox Player elements like chat box and player list; GUI, other players or objects in-game etc, unless those obstacles are related to the topic or the message of the picture.)
- Please do not replace other pictures/files using the upload function with no reason.
- If you would like to upload others' pictures to this wiki, you must first ensure that the original author of the picture does not disagree with it, and make sure to list out the author/source of the picture.
- Pictures with excessive modification, photoshopping, composition, or pictures that are counterfeit/imaginary are not accepted.
- Watermarks on pictures are allowed, but they should not be covering the main object of the picture, nor they should contain any inappropriate content.
Any pictures/files uploaded which are violating the above standards or infringing copyright will be removed by admins.
Page protection
In case an article includes controversial content, has a high risk of/is undergoing vandalism, edit warring or being rebuilt for no good reason, admins can protect those pages to restrict users from editing/creating such pages. In addition, important pages like the wiki homepage and wiki rules will be fully protected permanently.
If any user wishes to edit a fully protected page, or finds out any mistakes in the contents of the homepage/wiki rules, please inform an admin.
Offenses
The following actions are prohibited in this wiki:
- Adding/creating content that are irrelevant to this wiki's topic
- Adding/creating content/files that violates copyright
Creating pages that do not fulfill the requirements of the Manual of Editing(Coming soon)- Writing pages or translating pages into other languages (including Chinese)
- Editing pages with an excessively informal or sarcastical tone
- Writing content with points that cannot be verified, adding false or fictional content intentionally
- Adding content that are biased or not neutral
- Adding rude words in articles, or being rude to others, such as adding foul language or swear words, verbally attacking others, discrediting or defaming others, threatening or harassing others
- Infringing others' privacy, revealing others' personal information
- Bringing private conflicts into this wiki, such as adding such content into wiki pages, including sentences showing personal stance/feelings/viewpoints/comments clearly into paragraphs about trivia/controversies, arguing with other users in this wiki about stuff that are not related to this wiki
- Creating pages with very inadequate content, pages that are not following wiki article format, or meaningless articles
- Uploading pictures/files that are irrelevant to this wiki, or not complying to the Standard of File Uploading
- Vandalism, including removing, emptying or renaming pages for no proper reason, adding/creating unnecessary links/redirects/categories, messing around with the content in pages, rebuilding deleted pages without a good reason
- Edit warring, including reverting or undoing others' edits without proper reason (unless for situations like cleaning up vandalism)
- Edit farming, such as constantly doing meaningless edits, or reverting your own edits without reason
- Violating our Community Rules, such as adding inappropriate content in personal profile, abusing other users' message wall or comment function of articles
- Refusing to follow admins' decisions or instructions without acceptable explanation
- Minimodding
- Abusing multiple accounts, using alts for ban evading
- Using accounts that are impersonating or insinuating others
- Committing other offenses that are not mentioned above, but is clearly violating our wiki rules and guidelines
- Committing any actions that violate Fandom's general rules, guidelines, policies and ToS, e.g. commercial advertising in the wiki, or adding illegal content in this wiki
If admins discover/receive reports of any above actions, the respective contents will be removed/protected, while the related users will be warned or blocked depending on the severity of his offenses.
If the offense is extremely severe and exceeds our tolerance (such as users constantly violate our rules with multiple previous blocks, vandals using a large amount of alt accounts to vandalise or attack our wiki etc.), or the offense has violated Fandom's rules or ToS, we reserve the right to put the respective accounts into our wiki's blacklist (blacklisted users are listed below), or transfer the case to Fandom's staff team for assistance.

Blocking policies
If an user commits offenses that severely breaks our wiki's rules, violating Fandom's rules and ToS, or keeps on breaking rules after multiple warnings, the admins will give the user a block. The duration of each block will vary, depending on the severity of the actions and impacts of the user.
In addition, admins reserve the right to block any users with an unacceptable username, users who attempt to impersonate an admin or other users, or users that are suspicious and have a high potential risk towards our wiki.
All users may appeal their block by sending a private message to our wiki's admins in Discord (either to Joshuamumble#8310 or Sagirihin#8873), except blocks issued to blacklisted users and their alts.
Do note that under no circumstances using alts to evade blocks are permitted. If you think your block is unfair, please appeal by following the above instructions. If any user who is being blocked is discovered to be using other accounts to avoid his block, his alt accounts will be blocked forever at once. In addition, the block duration of the user's main account may also be extended depending on his main and alt accounts' activities. If a user is found constantly ban evading, or is found using alts to vandalize the wiki multiple times, the respective users will be added in the wiki blacklist, in which all of his accounts will be blocked indefinitely, and the blocks will be unappealable.
Wiki Staff Positions
Currently, this wiki does not have plans to open up any administrator or moderator application for the time being, but depending on operation needs, our administrators may invite users who have performed well or contributed a lot to this wiki for the above positions. In addition, if you think you can meet the staff rank requirements, you can also suggest yourself to the administrators for consideration.
Disclaimer
Keep this in mind, information in the pages of this wiki may not be 100% accurate as everyone can edit them, plus the information written may not be verified by any official personnels (e.g. the game's creator, or the owner/HRs of bus operators in-game). Although the wiki's admins will try their best to review all content and remove all false/unofficial content as quick as possible, but we are unable to guarantee that all content in the wiki are flawless.
Readers are advised only use this wiki as a reference, do not trust every single information in this wiki as official, but the official page of Sunshine Islands instead.
Also, readers are encouraged to double check the legitimacy of the content of this wiki on their own. The Sunshine Islands Wiki and its admins should not be held liable for any consequences or losses caused by any false content in this wiki.

- In case of any disputes or conflict in content between our wiki rules and Fandom's guidelines or ToS, the Fandom's guidelines or ToS should be final. If you spot any such disputes or conflicts in the wiki rules, please notify an admin so that we may update the wiki rules.
- The admins reserve the right to modify the wiki rules anytime to ensure the rules are up-to-date with the current community situation of the wiki, or to comply with any updates in Fandom's guidelines and ToS, without prior notice.
