Leafy Road

Overview[]

Leafy Road is an important road in Leafy Island. The road starts at North Leafy Garden, then continues to connect Normal Gap, Leafy Hospital, Leafy Bay, Leafy University and Alexander Hill, before looping back to itself near Senpai Road at Laws Garden.

The whole road can be divided into three sections.

Normal Gap Section[]

This section extends from North Leafy Garden to the Strategic Route 4 section near Leafy Hospital. Most bus routes use this section to travel between Senpai and Leafy Bay.

Strategic Route 4 Section[]

This section runs from the intersection with East Door Tunnel to YiYan Interchange. This section of Strategic Route 4 receives the highest usage compared to the other sections in Leafy Road.

Alexander Section[]

This section extends from the intersection with Sindy Road to Laws Garden, including Leafy University, Sindy Park and the Alexander area.

Design[]

The road has two lanes in each direction throughout, with a portion in the south being a dual carriageway. It is known for being winding and hilly, featuring a mix of elaborate and simple intersections with other roads, such as Senpai Bypass and East Door Road.

Usage Status[]

Leafy Road receives moderate to heavy use throughout the day, with most activity occurring during rush hour when people are commuting between their homes in East Door, Rainbow and Mo Garden and their jobs in Senpai or other zones. Regardless of the time, it serves as the only connection between areas such as Rainbow and the rest of Sunshine Islands, contributing to its heavy use throughout the day.

Trivia[]

Some may say that similar to how the intersecting road Sindy Road is based on Smithfield in Hong Kong, parts of Leafy Road (especially the dual-carriageway section and its intersection at Leafy Hospital) bear a strong resemblance to Pok Fu Lam Road in Hong Kong, which itself intersects with Smithfield.
