Horizon Island is the sole and namesake island in Zone 6. Home to Horizon Group's headquarters, it is the smallest zone in the game and contains a beach, a few housing complexes and the Horizon Bus Depot.
Overview[]
Unlike most islands in the Sunshine Islands, all traffic to and from the island must travel through Zone 7 in order to reach anywhere else. Consequently, there is no toll to use the Horizon Bridge to get on and off the island.
Horizon Island has only one roadway, this being Horizon Island Road. Beginning at the Horizon Bus Depot, it serves all the housing estates and the beach before it reaches the bridge. There are also no major businesses on the island other than small restaurants and shops inside the housing complexes, alongside the cafeteria in the bus depot. As a result, the island is undeveloped away from Horizon Island Road and no major reclamation works have taken place.
In the future, addisonshiu plans to expand Horizon Island to include more housing estates and a business district, turning it into a proper town rather than a bedroom community of Senpai. This would also add the possibility of intra-zone bus service. The revamp works for this started in May 2024, with an update being put in place effective June 1, 2024, which also suspended service to/from the island. Residents were relocated to other parts of the Islands where possible while Horizon Group buses will be stored in other locations (particularly the Senpai Multi-Storey Car Park).
Bus Routes[]
All bus routes serving Horizon Island have the same stopping pattern while on the island. This will be subject to change once the revamp is complete and if intra-zone service is added.
Most Zone 6 routes except are temporarily suspended until the Horizon Island redo is complete. Passengers who ride Zone 6 routes outside of this zone should use other inter-zone or Zone 7 routes if travelling within the latter. Route 673, however, is still operating but only does so within Zones 7 and 8. 160R has been shortened to Zone 7 Interchange.

Trivia[]
- Horizon Island is the only island where there is only one way in and out, via the Horizon Bridge.
- The island is the only one in the game without traffic signals, due to Horizon Island Road not meeting with any other roads.
- Since Horizon Island only has one roadway and there being a lack of demand for intra-zone service (as all passenger traffic is to/from Zone 7 or Zone 4), Horizon Group, the main bus company on the island does not operate such services within its namesake zone.
- Should the Horizon Bridge or Horizon Road be affected by a road closure, this will impact most bus routes operated by Horizon Group and all bus routes that serve this zone.
