Inter-zone route 148 is operated by Roblox Express Bus Company and Sunshine Express, travelling between Container's Island and Norton Town Center.
This route is one of two inter-zone routes serving Norton, alongside route 141. However, unlike its counterpart, route 148 serves as a local route in Dove Island and runs all day.
This route originally ran between Rocky Road and Containers Island; however, starting on June 20, 2020, the route now serves 5 more stops past Rocky Road, serving the North Island new town(aka Norton).
History[]
- (Date to be confirmed): 148 started its service.
- On 13 December 2019, North Island Garden South Tower Stop renamed as North Island Estate Shopping Centre, Stop location also changed.
- On 21 March 2020, Wright Shopping Center and Timelapse Mall stops were removed(to norton) and add a new stop at Twitter Office(to norton).
- 20/06/2020: Route extended to Norton Town Center, Rocky Road is only serviced on Norton-bound trips and is bypassed on trips towards Zone 1

Special arrangement during strong wind on Desire Bridge[]
When the wind speed on the bridge is higher then 40 km/h, buses are not allowed on the Desire Bridge. At that time, 148 will be splited into 2 routes. One has a routing same as normal but shortened to Hospital Island (Western Hopsital), while another route goes to Container's Island only via Central - Western Bridge without stopping after Moon Island Bypass , which will be named as Route S148.

Usage Status[]
This route connects Container's Island, Dove Island, Northern Island (Sunshine University, North Island Estate). Therefore it has a high passenger level. The departures are frequent, every 7-10 minutes throughout the whole day.
