Overview[]

Containers Terminal bus stop was opened in 2018 (to be confirmed). A pair of bus stops is located on both sides of Containers Island Road near the Containers Terminal cargo working area and Modern Terminal. This stop is designated for workers of Containers Terminal and the associated buildings. Therefore, there are very few residential buildings nearby to this stop.

This stop had been called as "Container's Ferry Pier" until June 2024, and it was renamed to Containers Terminal in V2.0 update.

The westbound bus stops can be divided into two sections:

Front-end platforms
The bus stops are located outside Modern Terminal and feature bus shelters. These bus stops mainly provide route 246X service to Eastmallow.

Back-end platforms
The bus stops are located outside the Containers Terminal cargo working area. The bus stops only provide routes to Container's Island B/T and Senpai.

As this stop is near most of the buildings on Containers Island, this stop sees many passengers waiting and alighting from buses during peak hours on weekdays. However, on weekends and during off-peak hours, the usage of this stop decreases significantly.

History[]

When the bus stops were opened, Route 25R, 148 stopped at this stop after it started operating.
On 4 November 2018, Route 25 stopped at this stop after it started operating.
On 25 December 2018, Route 370 stopped at this stop after it started operating.
On 28 March 2020, Route 246X stopped at this stop after it started operating.
On 28 June 2020, Route 141 stopped at this stop after it started operating.
On 1 June 2024, Route 25R was cancelled. Route N146 and 370B stopped at this stop after they started operating. The stop was renamed to Containers Terminal.

Currently, 1 route terminates here and 7 routes serve Containers Terminal as a mid-way stop.
