Central-Western Bridge[]
Central-Western Bridge was opened in 2018. Due to the length of the bridge and it being prone to lag in game, this bridge is not as popular for players as the Western Harbour Tunnel.
The bridge is popular as it allows for quick access to virtually anywhere in Zones 4 through 7 from the Containers Terminal, making it an important truck route in the Islands.
Overview[]
The Central-Western Bridge is a suspension bridge that crosses between Zones 1 and 4, between the south end of Central near Sunshine Station and Containers Island. The bridge is the only double deck roadway between zones, as it is based off the Tsing Ma Bridge.
The main deck is part of Strategic Route 3 and it has 3 lanes each direction. The main deck also connects directly to the highway for Zones 6 and 7, where it meets the Leafy-Central Tunnel. The lower deck has one lane each direction and also has a railway line underneath for Addison Metro Transit trains running between Sunshine Pier and Modern Terminal, without connecting Desire Bridge directly.
Consequently, railway crossing can also be found on the lower deck at the Zone 1 end, where an access road connects to Containers Island Road. Before V2.0, two spawn points are located at the Zone 1 end. On the Zone 4 end, the westbound tunnel access can be found by turning into the tunnel just before entering the highway, while eastbound traffic can pass under Central Hospital before emerging onto Southern Central Road or enter Southern Central Road directly.
All 3xx routes, 2XX routes (route 246X towards Eastmallow and marathon diversion routes) and route R148 use this bridge. On the Containers Island end of the main deck, the Central - Western Interchange can be found although it is underused at the moment.

For above routes, they all via the upper deck of the bridge. Some special routes would operate during Severe Weather or Marathon, route details would be discussed at following.
Special Traffic Arrangements[]
Buses may be diverted using the carriageway tunnels at the lower deck of the Central - Western Bridge when there are special situations, e.g. under strong wind or a traffic accident has occurred on the bridge. Due to the road design, the Central-Western Interchange stop will be cancelled when buses have to travel using the lower deck tunnel of the Bridge. Please note that on request, eastbound buses using the lower deck will service the lower Central Hospital stop.
Severe Weather Diversions[]
Route Y370 would be started service when there is strong wind or typhoon on the upper deck of the bridge while route 25Y would start service when there is strong wind or typhoon on Desire Bridge. They would via the lower deck tunnel of the Central-Western Bridge. On the other hand, All routes and traffics during periods of high winds or when main deck is closed to vehicles would use the lower deck tunnel.
Marathon Diversions[]
Before the start of Sunshine Marathon, route R148 and R370 would enter service, they would via the westbound lines of the upper deck of the bridge.
During Sunshine Marathon, the eastbound lines would be closed and route Y370 would enter service and route 270A would replace 370A. As the same time, due to the closure of one way of Desire Bridge and Western Harbour Tunnel, some routes would via the westbound lines of the upper deck of the bridge with route adjusted, including route 240, 242, 248 and N271.

- The spawn points at the Zone 1 end of the lower deck can spawn Addison Metro Transit SI-1 train sets, making it the only place where it is possible to spawn rail-based vehicles in the Islands as an Easter egg.
