The Sunshine Islands Overnight Bus Route N271 is operated by Forever Transit and Cityscape Bus, runs between Long Island Ferry Pier and Rainbow, via Long Island East, Dove Island, Norton, North Island Estate, Sunshine University, Central, Southern Central, Southern, Southern Cultural District, Zone 7 Interchange, YiYan, Leafy Bay, Alexander, North Leafy, East Door, and Haisey.
This route only runs during the Sunshine Islands Marathon, as a replacement of Route N171 when some roads are closed during the Marathon (such as the westbound lanes of the Western Harbour Tunnel and Dove Praya Road).
On trips towards Long Island, an automated announcement will be played informing passengers of the diversion once the bus has departed Norton Road bus stop. On the way to Zone 1 after leaving North Island, buses will bypass all stops on Moon Island, Central - Western Interchange and Containers Island. For trips in both directions, buses will not stop at Eddie City.
CSB buses serving this diversion are signed as route N171 due to them not having the EDS data for N271, however, drivers may display a window card with the appropriate route number or diversion information.

- 26 July 2024: Norton Road bus stop was cancelled for Rainbow bound, replaced by Norton Swimming Pool.

Usage Status[]
Like its daytime counterpart, Route N271 travels through most of the Islands, making its ridership higher than other overnight routes.
Trivia[]
- This route has the most intermediate stops in the Islands.
- Like its regular routing, Route N271 has a stop in almost every island - the only islands not served by this route are Horizon Island and Containers Island. This route can take up to two hours to complete if you follow all rules of the road.

Although the Marathon diversion routing has its own route number N271, CSB buses' EDS do not have seperate display data for N271, hence vehicles will continue using N171 display during diversion.
