Inter-zone route 473 is operated by City Scape Bus and Sunshine Express, travelling between Moon Island West and Leafy Bay, Via YiYan Estate, YiYan, Zone 7 Interchange, Southern Central, Central and Northern Interchange.
This route is the second route running between Zone 4 and Zone 7. It now mainly serves Zone 7 West and Zone 4 Central.
History
- On 14 April 2018, 473 started its service.
- On 24 May 2019, The new roundabout at Moon Island West is built. The route and stop location is slightly modified.
- On 9 December 2019, changes in bus stops within Central District:
- For Leafy Bay direction journeys, the bus stop at Southern Two is relocated.
- For Moon Island west direction journeys, additional bus stop at Southern Market while the Southern Two bus stop is removed.
- On 25 July 2020, some changes in bus stops were made within Leafy Bay:
- the route now travels via Leafy Estate and Sindy Garden instead of stopping at Sindy Road stop for both directions.
- YiYan Ferry Pier, Church Hill and YiYan City stops cancelled.
- Waste Transfer Station stop renamed to CSB Depot.(Since CSB Depot moved to former Waste Transfer Station.)
- CSB Depot stop renamed to Diamond Trading Tower.(Since CSB Depot moved to former Waste Transfer Station.)
- Rainbow stop renamed to Rainbow Plaza.

Usage Status
This route covers many areas of high demand, in particular Central, and is the only route that travels beyond Zone 7 to cover Leafy Bay. In addition, this route serves both the Zone 7 and Northern Interchanges, allowing passengers to go to other destinations via this route. As a result, patronage on this route is very high.
