Inter-zone route 473 is operated by City Scape Bus and FT Central Connect, travelling between Lunar Point and Leafy Bay, Via YiYan Estate, YiYan, Zone 7 Interchange, Southern, Central and Northern Interchange.
This route is the second route running between Zone 4 and Zone 7. It now mainly serves Zone 7 YiYan and Zone 4 Central.

History[]
- On 14 April 2018, 473 started its service.
- On 24 May 2019, the new roundabout at Moon Island West is built. The route and stop location were slightly modified.
- On 9 December 2019, changes in bus stops within Central District:
- For Leafy Bay direction journeys, the bus stop at Southern Two is relocated.
- For Moon Island west direction journeys, additional bus stop at Southern Market while the Southern Two bus stop is removed.
- On 25 July 2020, some changes in bus stops were made within Leafy Bay:
- the route now travels via YiYan Estate and Sindy Garden instead of stopping at Sindy Road stop for both directions.
- YiYan Ferry Pier, Church Hill and YiYan City stops cancelled.
- Waste Transfer Station stop renamed to CSB Depot.(Since CSB Depot moved to former Waste Transfer Station.)
- CSB Depot stop renamed to Diamond Trading Tower.(Since CSB Depot moved to former Waste Transfer Station.)
- Rainbow stop renamed to Rainbow Plaza.
- On 1 June 2024, several amendments were made:
- Full fare reduced to $11.4
- 24-hour service was no longer provided
- Moon Island West terminus has been moved to West Moon Road and renamed to Lunar Point.
- Hill Road was renamed to East Factory, CSB Depot's Chinese name has been renamed from 「城際巴士車廠」 to 「際巴車廠」, Pink Mall has been renamed to Ping Center, Brown Street has been renamed to Maple Lane.
- Southern One and Moon Island West has been cancelled for both bounds, High Court was cancelled for Lunar Point direction.
- Adjustment of the routing towards Leafy Bay: After Northern Interchange, Bird Bridge has been cancelled, replaced with Maple Lane and Glass Office.
- Sunshine Island Bus took over Sunshine Express to operate this route
- On 29 June 2024, FT Central Connect took over Sunshine Island Bus to operate this route with CSB.

Special arrangement during the Marathon[]
When the Marathon is being held, this route will operate in a circular basis, omitting Northern Interchange and Lunar Point.
After Mint Tower, buses will be diverted to stop at Red Wall Road as the temporary returning point, then continue to Maple Lane and resume normal return trip routing back to Leafy Bay.
After the bus departs Mint Tower, an automated announcement will be made informing passengers about the diversion.
Usage Status[]
This route covers many areas of high demand, in particular Central, and is the only route that travels beyond Zone 7 to cover Leafy Bay. In addition, this route serves both the Zone 7 and Northern Interchanges, allowing passengers to go to other destinations via this route. As a result, patronage on this route is very high. However, passengers travelling between Zone 7 and Northern Interchanges shifted to Route 171 since June 2024, when Route 171 provide full day service, due to its more direct routing. However, this route is still cheaper than 171, so there is only a slight decrease in passengers for this route.
