Usage Status[]
As the most frequent and direct route to Central Road, in contrast to the winding route of Route 42 or the less frequent Route 49A, Route 42A is popular among the residents of North Island Hill, as well as North Island School Village students via the route's terminus of Rocky Road. The route can often get full during the late afternoon from student commuters at Rocky Road, with many passengers unable to board further downhill.
In terms of drivers actually driving the route, this route is one of the most common routes driven, along with the 41A and the 140, mostly by new players. If you join any public server, there is an almost 100% guarantee that you will see someone driving this route.
