Inter-zone route 140P is operated by Forever Transit and FT Central Connect, which is a single direction route from Sunshine Pier to Long Island Ferry Pier, with service only available during the PM peak period.
This route has been classified as a special departure of 140, providing direct service from Central to East Long Island to alleviate the huge amount of passengers on route 140 travelling between the two districts. The route bypasses Northern Interchange and Wright, allowing passengers from Central to have a faster journey back home from work.

- On 1 June 2024, 140P started its service.
- On 29 June 2024, FT Central Connect took over Sunshine Islands Bus to operate this route. As a result, this route has become one of two inter-zone routes to be operated by one bus company, as with its parent.
