Axis Road is located in Zone 7, connecting the east and the west side of Leafy Island between Leafy - Central Tunnel and South Bay Road, via Thousands Leaf, Senpai and Water Bay. The road majorly acts as a major road allowing traffics from East Door/ Haisey and Zone 4 to Senpai downtown.
This is the widest road in Zone 7 with at most 5 lanes each side, including the BRT line through downtown Kamaya and Senpai. In some sections at Kamaya and Senpai area, 4 of the lanes are for general traffic while the two centre lanes are for buses.
Network[]
Axis Road is located on Strategic Route 3, connecting the suburban district of Senpai to the Leafy - Central Tunnel and westwards towards Moon Island. Although it is part of the Strategic Route system, it functions as a limited access road with signalized intersections.
This road is also home to a centre lane BRT line servicing Kamaya, International Tower and downtown Senpai, which is the busiest corridor in the district. The road also serves a key point for traffic between Moon Island and Senpai; therefore, it is served by the majority of the zone 7 routes, including some inter-zone services.
Currently, some of the eastbound lines at eastern part of the road near Water Bay is under engineering work, probably a branched road will connect to Water Bay if the area gets open.
